1. Who we are.

LicenceMyGun ("we", "us") is an online tool that helps you prepare firearm licence application documents in South Africa. You can contact us at info@licencemygun.co.za.

2. What we do, and what we don't.

• We prepare draft documents from the answers you give us. This includes the SAP 271 form and a motivation letter.
• We are not a law firm, a firearm dealer, or a licensing consultant. Nothing we produce is legal advice.
• We are not part of, or endorsed by, the South African Police Service (SAPS). We cannot approve, speed up, or influence your application.

3. Your responsibilities.

• You must be 18 or older.
• The answers you give must be true, complete, and your own. Giving false information on a SAPS form can be an offence.
• You must read and check every document before you sign it or hand it in. You are responsible for what you submit.
• Our tool helps you prepare your documents. It does not guarantee that your application will be approved.
• Use the tool only for your own application, or for someone who has asked you to help them with theirs.

4. Your account.

You log in with your email address. Please keep your email account secure. You are responsible for what happens under your login.

5. Price and payment.

The price is R299 per application, once-off. It is shown on the Pay page before you pay. Payments are processed securely by Yoco. We never see or store your card details.

6. Refunds.

Please read our Refund Policy. It forms part of these Terms.

7. Your information.

How we collect, use, store, and delete your information is explained in our Privacy Policy. In short, we keep your application only as long as needed to give you the service, and then delete it.

8. Our liability.

We work hard to keep the tool accurate and available, but we can't promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. These include a delayed, queried, or declined application. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the application concerned. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act.

9. Changes.

We may update these Terms. The version that applies to you is the one shown when you pay. The latest version is always on this page.

10. Law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
